Bruce Steckler, partner at Steckler Wayne & Love, was interviewed by the San Antonio Express-Press for an August 30, 2025, article titled “Camp Mystic parents had to sign a legal release. Can they still sue over flood deaths?”
Bruce spoke to the liabilities and obligations related to the case:
“Nobody knows more about the risks out there than the camp itself,” he said. “And so the question then becomes, ‘What steps had they taken to protect these children who were entrusted to them?’”
