Bruce Steckler was recently interviewed on KMOV News 4 as part of an investigative report on the sale of commemorative coins to the elderly.
When asked if he thought that companies selling some of these commemorative coins were committing fraud, Bruce replied that,
“it is an industry-wide problem…It has come to our attention that a lot of elderly people are buying commemorative coins as investments and, unfortunately, we’ve found out that a lot of these folks are spending two to three times the value of the actual coin.”
